The mission of our client, Nelja Energia AS, is to focus on four renewable energy sources – the sun, wind, water and biomass. Our goal in this project was to design the architectural solution for the wind energy demo centre illustrating energy saving solutions and technologies based solely on the local wind and solar energy. The building includes exhibition rooms, a conference hall and the storage and office facilities for the companies maintaining the wind farm. The building was constructed as a passive house.
